This week Blue Knight Rubber Stamp Design Team challenged us to create something other than a card. I haven't embroidered in decades. This is what I came up with for this weeks design team.

I used Ranger Adirondack Brights Pebble ink for stamping the image onto the pillow case. When stamping on fabric, I use a dense foam pad under the pillow case to help to have a little give with fabric. It's very important.
My favorite is always choosing what colors I want to use. The orange flowers seemed to have been difficult part of this project. I stitched them in yellow, the yellow was sort of bland, and I didn't like the original stitch. Maybe I should have taken more pictures along the way. So you could see what I'm talking about. This floral image isn't too difficult or time consuming. Then I went with orange, but I didn't like that stitch either. 3 time is always a charm. Yes the satin stitch was the correct stitch I was looking for. I was still able to use the yellow with the French knots and a little more satin stitch.
