Marilyn Monroe Candle

 

I just had a couple of candles on hand. So why not, I haven't Stamped a candle in along time.  The Stamp can be found at Crackerbox Palace and Suzy Stamps https://rubberartstamps.com/ever-notice/

I started with an oval shape tissue paper.  Used Momento Black Ink.  I Stamped several times because of the solid image.  Then I placed the tissue on the candle. I wrapped waxpaper around the candle. To keep the tissue in place.  Using my heat gun to melt the wax for the the tissue paper and the candle to melt together to become one.  Keep you heat gun moving otherwise the candle will melt too much. When Die cuting for the pop out use the larger one toward the outside and smaller in the middle. U will be using the larger one twice.  Make sure you move the pop out part to be in place. Use your bone folder firmly to get all the folds nice and crisp. Then adhere one side of the of the white card stock to the blue then the otherwise.
Once you have colored your images, then u can fussy cut the the Rabbit,  Tiger and Squirrel.
Now adhere the Critters to the popout. Then I fold my card and press down to make sure all images are secure. I have included several Sentiments.  So u can choose one of ur liking.

4 eyelets diecuts (2 Lge, 2 sm)
1 arm die-cuts (1 purple)
1 blue die-cut and Stenciled (Stencil is a           Wendy Vecchi honeycomb & Broken China Distress Oxide)
1 - dark purple A2
1 - light purple A2 trim and 1/4" off 2 sides
1 - bee hive

Too Assemble:
First use the stencil blue paper, measure the corner to know where u need to cut ur  diangle 2. When securing ur brads always use ur tool betweenthe Brad and the washer. It allows you to give just enough space to allow your arm to move freely.  3. Insert 1 Brad into the rounded part , of the arm die-cut. Make sure all brad heads are facing up. 4.  On the tip of the arm add 1 lrg washer under the arm and 1sm washer on top the arm.  5. Make sure everything is moving freely b4 finishing securing ur images. Also make sure to use a tiny bit of tape on the back part of the Brad. This will help to keep ur image from moving around. 8.Once the images are adhered to the Brad. 8. Use the foam tape on the back of the blue paper. I use glue on foam tape, it gives me freedom incase I need to adjust. Keeping it clear from ur arms to keep it from interfere with the mechanism.

Use 5 pop dots for the back of the queen Bee.  1 on the back of the bee facing the left. After they are adhered,  use the embossing buddy to rub over the pop dots to remove the stickiness.  This will help to balance out ur images, yet keep them from sticking.  Now you can adhere the bees and the sentiments.  If u are having issues with Edna or the bee staying glued.  You can always try Crystal nuvo drops.
