4.25 x 4.75 white Neecah  I masked the middle section at 1.5" from each end. 

Distressed oxides used: barn door and candied apple to get the red. Faded Jeans was used for the blue. Sapphire Blue for edging.

If you haven't tried this makeup brushes for blending, that all the rage right now.  I recommend getting some, especially if you have fibro, or arthritis. JMO I love them,I found them to be easier on my upper body. 

Ranger Black sparkle embossing powder and versa mark for the images.

Used Darice stars embossing: Navy cardstock 5.25 x 4.25. I used a white metallic white, over the stars.

Stamped More Precious floral with momento black ink, unto  Neenah card stock is what I used when coloring with copics.  I thought this time I would make a gate fold card. Wanted to create a more elegant card this week. After coloring,  I love fussy cutting.

Precious Embroiderd Pillow Case

This week Blue Knight Rubber Stamp Design Team challenged us to create something other than a card. I haven't embroidered in decades. This is what I came up with for this weeks design team.

I used Ranger Adirondack Brights Pebble ink for stamping the image onto the pillow case. When stamping on fabric, I use a dense foam pad under the pillow case to help to have a little give with fabric. It's very important.

My favorite is always choosing what colors I want to use. The orange flowers seemed to have been difficult part of this project. I stitched them in yellow, the yellow was sort of bland, and I didn't like the original stitch. Maybe I should have taken more pictures along the way. So you could see what I'm talking about. This floral image isn't too difficult or time consuming. Then I went with orange, but I didn't like that stitch either. 3 time is always a charm. Yes the satin stitch was the correct stitch I was looking for.  I was still able to use the yellow with the French knots and a little more satin stitch. All and all I'm very excited with the end results. Thanks for stopping by, Look forward to you coming back.
